About us
Center for Justice and Reconciliation, CJR, was established in 2005 by a group of local experts and journalists of Institute for War and Peace (IWPR) in the region with the aim to promote justice and reconciliation processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the moment, CJR is involved in several ongoing projects related to transitional justice. CJR also coordinates the IWPR media activities in the Balkans, serving as the main hub for the production and dissemination of reports, radio broadcast and TV shows in the region.
Our mission
CJR coaches local journalists onsite and liaises with collaborating media outlets, providing avenues for the dissemination of material on transitional justice through web, print, radio and TV. Its goal is to help create a climate for lasting peace and reconciliation among all ethnic groups in BiH and to promote transitional justice processes in BiH.
